Let Damon Lindelof and the cast of The Leftovers introduce you to Miracle’s most intriguing family.
The Leftovers took a break from filming in Austin, Texas, so that series creators Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, as well as several cast members, could visit the Television Critics Association's summer convocation in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 30. The television reporters assembled were treated to juicy details about what's to come on the drama. The big news, which the first teaser hinted at, is that Season 2 will shift from Mapleton to a new setting: a small town in eastern Texas with a population of 9261...and zero departures.
The other big takeaway? According to the official description, Season 2 will be "a tale of two families." The Garveys will be joined by a new clan: the Murphys, a family of four who seems to have been spared from the event that shook the rest of the world.
Check out members of both families in the first seven officially released photos below.
